Ethan Azarian has been playing at the Hole in the Wall and hosting the Happy Hour on Wednesdays since 2015 with local musicians joining him. From 2017 - 2019 the Eastern Leaves duo opened the show and Ethan often played his sets with long time collaborator Jeff Johnston and Lindsey Verrill.

 

In 2022, Ethan began playing at the Open Mic at the Cactus Cafe on Tuesdays and in doing so realized that there is a great need for venues for emerging artists to play and gain experience. Since then, Ethan has been inviting musicians from the open mic to play at the Hole in the Wall and so began the Songwriters Happy Hour.
